Naturally, we all start and finish each day in the bathroom and time spent alone in this space may indeed be a luxury, as we jockey to grab those few moments of solitude which potentially set the tone for the day ahead.  

 

At day's end, the bathroom may also serve as that safe place we escape to for a moment of bliss from the rest of the family, a great place to unwind from the stresses of the day with a hot shower or a warm bath.  No wonder some people say “I have some of my best ideas in the shower!”  The well appointed bathroom can genuinely serve as a place where you can rejuvenate yourself and a visually pleasurable design can make that precious experience feel like a small slice of heaven - with or without that Do Not Disturb sign!
